MediZen received initial registration approval by the Healthcare Commission in 2005. We were recently audited by a Government regulator working for the Healthcare Commission, and are proud to announce that in the ensuing report we met or exceeded every single standard that was measured.

Amongst other things the auditor noted:

“The inspection visit confirmed that the policies, procedures and intended practice outlined during the registration process are being followed consistently and to a high standard.”

“Staff training and development is of a high standard.”

“Risk assessments are in place for all areas of the clinic and are regularly reviewed.”

Although our aim is to operate our clinic to the highest possible standards, it’s satisfying when someone from outside of our business reports that we’re exceeding requirements!

MediZen staff were excited to be recently interviewed and featured on Central TV news regarding our experience with Smartlipo™ laser lipolysis - which was introduced into the clinic late last year.
As the first clinic in the Midlands to adopt this novel, high tech treatment for the reduction of small stubborn areas of fat, we have received a large number of enquiries from both the media and prospective clients interested in learning more about the procedure.

Over the last six months we have treated many people with laser lipolysis who want to reduce areas of fat resistant to diet or exercise, whilst greatly reducing the risks and recovery time associated with traditional procedures such as liposuction. No general anaesthetic is required, and post procedure swelling is effectively controlled so that clients need minimal or no recovery time that requires them to be absent from work.

Further analysis of results also showed that clients treated for multiple facial lines perceived that they looked younger than those who were treated with BOTOX® for vertical frown lines between the brows or crow's feet alone. This suggests that the overall, subtle smoothing in the appearance of facial lines achieved by treating multiple areas may be an important factor in a client’s perception of looking younger.
