Botox / Vistabel® BasicPLEASE NOTE THAT TRAINING COURSES HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED PENDING A REVIEW OF COURSE MATERIALS IN LINE WITH NEW INDUSTRY TRAINING GUIDELINES PRODUCED BY THE IHAS Dr David Eccleston has over 12 years experience in the use of Botox® / Vistabel®, and he has lectured on the subject both in the UK and abroad. He has received personal training from the widely respected Consultant Dermatologist, international speaker and Botox® triallist, Dr Timothy Flynn and the clinician credited with first identifying the potential for Botox® as an aesthetic treatment, Dr Jean Carruthers.
Over the last 7 years David has also been successfully running Botox® training courses for interested Physicians and Surgeons at our main clinic in Sutton Coldfield. During this period he has run both introductory and advanced workshops for over 800 Doctors. Dr Eccleston has undertaken a clinical trial on the use of botulinum toxin for glabellar lines and is currently the only approved Botox® / Vistabel® trainer in the Midlands offering courses for cosmetic use.
This course include a comprehensive theory session as well as a detailed practical injection workshop where Physicians have the opportunity to inject a patient under the guidance of Dr Eccleston.

We find that most Physicians feel confident in starting a Botox® clinic following this one day course.
All attendees will also receive a course pack and attendance certificate. Course fee - Ł650 + VAT (763.75 inc) per person - maximum attendance of 8 doctors. Coffee/tea refreshments provided throughout the day
Please note that material presented in this course represents the clinical experience of Dr David Eccleston, as well as current information obtained from the literature, and includes discussions of unlicensed indications for botulinum toxin used for minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. MediZen and Dr Eccleston cannot accept responsibility for any medical or legal problems arising as a result of the use of these techniques. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT TRAINING COURSES ARE FOR MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS ONLY - Nurses/ RGN's (who are not registered Nurse Prescribers) can only attend a training course if they complete and return an Indemnity Form signed by a Registered Surgeon or Doctor (who have already attended a training course in the administration of Botox® and must be able to provide copy of certification) indicating that they are prepared to cover the nurse for prescribing under a Patient Group Directive where the prescribing individual sees the client for the first consultation and treatment.
