Our Clinic is purpose designed and built with 5 treatment rooms - including a registered minor surgery treatment facility.

We comply with the Care Quality Commission requirements (as a registered clinic), and pay particular attention to ensuring that all of the equipment, staff training and procedures are focussed on ensuring that we make treatments as comfortable as possible.

We are committed to improving and maintaining skin health using Perk and HydraFacial. So much so, that in fact we created a whole new concept in skincare and it's available right here at MediZen! Our MediFacial provides you with the best professional skin care solutions based on your skin’s actual needs. Our experts independently assess your skin by taking a ‘skin photo’ with the Visia 2D skin system which is then analysed to get an accurate diagnosis of the health of your skin. Our skincare specialists will then discuss your current skincare regime and any concerns that you have regarding your complexion. Next, depending on what your skin requires and the amount you wish to spend, we will recommend a skincare plan to get and keep your skin looking great. MediZen's Unique Comfort Monitor and Comfort Score System

One of the primary concerns that our clients have relates to discomfort associated with different procedures. In our experience, very few clinics know exactly how uncomfortable certain procedures are for their clients, and they tend to work on the assumption that every client experience is similar and that discomfort is part of the treatment process. 

We know that pain can be subjective and tolerance can differ between individuals, which is why we try to analyse objective information from our clients experience with different treatments.

This helps us to give you a much more realistic idea of the real average treatment comfort as actually experienced by clients being treated within our clinic. It also allows us to collect information and alter our protocols to continually try to reduce discomfort experienced with procedures delivered by our practitioners.

Information is routinely collected via our treatment comfort survey form and in a recent report 87% of our clients found treatment not painful at all, comfortable or slightly uncomfortable.

In addition, we ensure that we give our clients complete control at all times with our unique “beep box” – if pressed our practitioners know that the client is finding the particular procedure too uncomfortable to tolerate. With some facial procedures (particularly lip augmentation) clients may feel too scared to move or verbalise discomfort – which is why we give them a simple button to press if they want the practitioner to stop at any point.

What Happens When You Visit MediZen?

You will be introduced to your practitioner who will take you through to one of our discreet state of the art treatment rooms where you can discuss what you would like to achieve. Our practitioner will explain the treatment stages and how we can help you to achieve the results you are looking for, answering any questions and concerns that you may have. If you’re happy, and the practitioner feels that the treatment is suitable and will give you the results that you’re looking for then you can proceed to book your treatment with us. 

We always ensure that we give you time to discuss your needs with a professional (no rushed 10-minute consultations), and will often use our 2D VISIA Digital Skin Analysis System to help us assess the quality of your skin in detail if you're seeking anti-ageing treatments for the face. We are one of the only clinics in the Birmingham area with access to this advanced technology, meaning we can objectively measure results via a series of skin analysis tools allowing for comparison of results before and after any treatment. 

As a medically led and owned clinic, we take pride in the quality of our service and you can be sure that ethics come before profit: We will not treat you if we don’t think that we can give you the results that you desire, preferring to refer and recommend other expert colleagues, where appropriate. 

After your treatment, we will continue to keep in regular contact with you to monitor your progress and measure your results. MediZen's Registrations and Professional Trade Bodies

We are one of the very few cosmetic clinics in the Midlands who have been registered with the Care Quality Commission and Save Face.

Save Face are an organisation committed to connecting consumers with practitioners that are safe, credible, and above all, qualified. We are a Save Face accredited clinic which means we have passed the rigorous assessment process, demonstrating all of the necessary attributes that are essential in order to provide safe treatments, using safe products, in safe environment.
 

MediZen are also PaPPS Accredited. PaPPS is a consumer driven initiative addressing the emotional, relational and psychological wellbeing for people who are considering or having elective surgical or invasive aesthetic procedures. The PaPPS training was something we felt was very significant, as a leading medically led and owned clinic, we take pride in the quality of our service and the fact that ethics should always come before profit.

We are also affiliated with and belong to professional trade bodies including the British Medical Laser Association and British College of Aesthetic Medicine.

You can be safe in the knowledge that we are independently audited for safety, effectiveness and client satisfaction for the treatment we offer and that our staff training, health and safety, insurance policies, treatment advice literature and protocols are up to date, government regulated and inspected. 

In our recent customer satisfaction survey of 164 MediZen clients, 95% rated our service as either excellent or very satisfactory for treatment results and value for money and 100% for overall service – 93% of which was rated as excellent. MediZen offers a SAFE and effective service. We don’t cut corners, and invest in staff training and buying the best equipment. We NEVER compromise your safety by trying to save money re-using certain items of equipment that should be disposable – yes, this does happen in some clinics!
