Your blood test is sent to a lab and a full comprehensive report is provided for you. Your doctor will arrange a follow up appointment to go through your results with you and advise on any course of action or treatment required to improve your overall health.
Being aware of your health in this way, and by being able to track your health data you have the power to take control of your own health and make better, more informed decisions to help prevent future illness. Give yourself peace of mind with our wellperson checks.
This is a comprehensive health screening, allowing us to test your blood for data on your hormones, heart, kidney, liver, thyroid and much more.
Once we receive your results you will have a follow up consultation with our doctor. They will explain your data to you, talk through your medical history and lifestyle habits and then be able to make an assessment of next steps. Your doctor will be able to recommend a course of action, or any treatments required to improve your health and decrease your chances of future illness.
Health checks are designed to assess the risk of potential medical conditions that we could develop. Whilst this doesn’t prevent you from developing a health problem, it can make you aware of areas where you may have a higher risk. Even if you feel well it doesn’t mean you aren’t at risk of lifestyle diseases so a health check is always a good idea!
Founded in 1999 and based in Birmingham, we are the Midlands Premier Aesthetic Clinic. After more than 20 years of helping our patients feel their best on the outside, in 2023 we opened MediZen Wellness, a brand new retail and wellness clinic directly under our award winning aesthetic clinic.
Our mission with MediZen Wellness is to help, guide and support our patients in feeling as healthy as possible on the inside (which often will also have a positive impact on their outside appearance) with our wellness services focusing on menopause, weight management and general wellness.
The team at MediZen has been carefully selected for their skills, knowledge, experience and professionalism, to ensure they represent the very best in the industry. All of our practitioners have been intensively trained in all of the treatments and products we offer, as well as regularly attending updated training days, so you can be sure you are always receiving the most up to date advice and protocols.
