Laser Genesis is a fantastic treatment to make the skin firmer, tighter and create a more even complexion but it can also be used to treat melasma and reduce the size of pores.
By stimulating collagen regrowth, Laser Genesis effectively reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, tightens pores, reduces oil production, improves overall tone and texture on the skin, gets rid of sun damage and helps to diminish any redness on the skin.
Laser Genesis works by gently heating the dermis, which is located below the skin’s surface. Patients often find the treatment very soothing, as there is zero discomfort involved. We can combine this with a HydraFacial (HydraGenesis) to create the ultimate treatment for glowing skin, or with a chemical peel for effective skin rejuvenation.

Most Xeo+ treatment sessions will be between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
Whilst not painful Xeo+ treatments can feel similar to a quick rubber band snap against the skin but should be no worse than this. Depending on the procedure, a cooled treatment tip will be in contact with the skin to protect and provide additional comfort.
Typically, you can return to normal activities the same, or next day after treatment. Redness and/or swelling can be expected for some patients after treatment. For full-face treatments, swelling will peak 24 to 48 hours post-treatment but will be resolved within a few days. Downtime for more intense IPL treatments could be a few days to one week.
For most skin concerns the Xeo+ requires a course of between 3 and 6 treatments for maximum results. Some patients may require on-going maintenance depending on their skin concern. This will all be discussed with you during your consultation.
We can treat children from 15+ with the Xeo+ laser if there is a medical reason for treatment. A parent or guardian must consent to the treatment and be present for all appointments.
