If you are considering the CO2 element of the treatment, a patch test may be carried out as part of your consultation
If you decide to proceed, your treatment appointment can be booked at a convenient time
Avoid active skincare products such as retinols and AHAs for 3–5 days prior to treatment
Do not apply creams to the treatment area or exfoliate immediately before your appointment
Ensure your treatment is scheduled at least 2 weeks after any anti-wrinkle injections or dermal filler
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment
Avoid sun exposure, tanning, or the use of self-tanning products for at least 4 weeks prior to treatment
If you have a history of herpes simplex (cold sores), an antiviral prescription may be required prior to treatment
If your treatment is on the face, please attend your appointment with no makeup applied
If required, numbing cream will be applied approximately 30 minutes prior to your treatment to ensure comfort
Your practitioner will begin by explaining the treatment in detail and answering any final questions
Your medical history will be reviewed and confirmed prior to proceeding
You will be asked to read and sign a consent form before treatment begins
Clinical images of the treatment area will be taken for your records

Your secret to
younger-looking skin
Revitalise the top layers of your skin with the Secret PRO CO2 laser treatment. This laser creates a network of ‘punctures’ in the upper layers of your skin, stimulating new skin cell growth and promoting collagen formation. Most of the skin surface is left intact, which helps speed up the healing process, reducing downtime.
This CO2 laser effectively treats concerns such as pigmentation, scarring and fine lines and wrinkles revealing a new, refreshed and rejuvenated layer of skin.
Radiofrequency micro-needling (Secret RF) stimulates and remodels collagen to help address common signs of ageing. Secret RF uses microneedles to deliver radiofrequency energy into varying layers of your skin, including the deeper layers where the treatment is most beneficial. Secret RF can be used on both your face and neck, helping visibly tighten your skin, reduce large pores, fine lines and wrinkles, and improve your overall skin quality.
With the Radiofrequency Micro-Needling patients typically need 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart to achieve optimal results. This of course depends on your treatment plan.
As for the CO2 laser treatment – most patients find one treatment is enough for their desired results, however, some may find they require a second treatment 6 to 9 months later.
Secret PRO is ideal for improving ageing skin, photodamage and fine lines and wrinkles on your face and neck. It can also be used to treat acne scars, pigmentation and stretch marks as well as helping to improve your overall skin texture and skin quality.
During the treatment, you will feel slight heating and some pressure on the treatment area. Prior to the procedure, the clinic staff will apply a numbing cream to the treatment area to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. For most patients the treatment is tolerable, but your practitioner will work with you to ensure you’re comfortable throughout the whole session.
After the treatment, an ointment will be applied to the skin and you will be asked to refrain from wearing makeup for several hours. You will also be asked not to wash or touch your face for at least 4 hours. Downtime will vary depending on the treatment you had and the intensity.
Patients who have had the Secret RF treatment report that 18 months post procedure they are still happy with their results. To maintain optimum results, it’s advised that you get a ‘top up’ RF procedure every 12 months.
Most patients achieve permanent results after one or two treatments with the CO2 laser but a top up treatment may be required depending on your skin type and condition.
