Who is Advanced Electrolysis for?

What is Advanced Electrolysis?
Advanced electrolysis, sometimes listed locally as ACP (advanced cosmetic procedures), works through a probe finer than an eyelash. Your specialist rests it against the blemish and passes a brief thermolysis current through it. This generates a small, controlled pulse of heat. That heat targets the cells that make up the blemish. The blemish is either lifted away there and then, or cauterised. It then dries and drops off over the following days. It reads dramatically on paper. In the chair it is quick, precise and far gentler than most people expect.
Because the probe is so fine, your practitioner can work right up to the edge of a blemish. This avoids disturbing the healthy skin around it. That is what keeps results neat and scarring rare. Skin tags are among the most common blemishes we clear. As the NHS points out, they are completely harmless. That is exactly why they are not removed on the NHS. Advanced electrolysis earns its keep on the awkward, specific blemishes that other treatments struggle to reach. Xanthelasma, the soft yellow deposits that gather around the eyes, respond well.
