The brand of fillers we use have anaesthetic in the product. This means that you will feel a pin prick at the start, but as soon as the product is injected you should feel minimal discomfort.
You may experience slight tenderness for 2-3 days after the treatment, particularly around the lips. You may also notice some bruising or swelling. You can reduce the likelihood of this by following the aftercare instructions your practitioner will provide you with during your appointment.

This filler uses a combination of hyaluronic acid, which is used in conventional fillers, and Calcium Hydroxyapatite. Yes, this hybrid injectable filler is different to the conventional ones. Conventional dermal fillers can be used on different areas of the face to add volume. HArmonyCa on the other hand not only provides volume, but also stimulates collagen regrowth to tighten and lift the skin long after treatment.
HArmonyCa is used specifically on the lower face, helping add volume and lift and tighten the skin in this area. It cannot be used on any other areas of the face.
Yes, HArmonyCa is done in one 20-30 minute appointment. The filler is injected into each side of the lower face and should last for around 18-24 months before you need a re-treatment.
No, the results you see immediately post treatment won’t be the final ones. This is what makes this filler so unique. The volume you see right after the treatment will be the same, however, over the next 18 to 24 months you will see gradual improvement in the appearance of your skin. This is due to the stimulation of new collagen growth. Many patients have noted that they saw best results up to one year after their treatment.
