Who is Juläine for?
The change tends to show up first in photographs. The soft creases that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth are the nasolabial folds. They look a little deeper than they did five years ago. What is Juläine?
Juläine is an injectable collagen activator made mainly from poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA, suspended with sodium carboxymethylcellulose and non-pyrogenic mannitol. PLLA is not new. It has been used in regenerative aesthetics for more than 25 years, with a long safety record. It also has the useful habit of breaking down naturally in the body once its work is done. What is newer is the engineering. Juläine was developed by the Swedish biotech Nordberg Medical, and it uses something they call LasynPro microsphere technology.
Each microsphere is uniform, smooth and dense, shaped to spread evenly through the skin instead of clumping.
