Most people who ask MediZen about Endolift describe the same thing. The jawline that used to be sharp has blurred, and a heaviness has gathered around the jowls. The neck, or the area under the chin, looks fuller in photographs than it used to. Skincare cannot reach that, and injectables were never designed to lift it.
Endolift suits mild to moderate skin laxity on the face and neck. The people who do best are usually between their mid-thirties and mid-sixties and in good general health. They still have enough natural elasticity for the collagen response to take hold. Many also have a small pocket of fat under the chin or along the jaw. Endolift can reduce that at the same time as it tightens the skin above.

Endolift® is a minimally invasive laser treatment that works from beneath the skin rather than across its surface. Once local anaesthetic has settled the area, Dr Mattia guides a single-use optical fibre under the skin through one tiny entry point. The fibre is finer than a human hair, and it sits below the skin but above the muscle. There are no incisions and no stitches.
It delivers laser energy at 1470 nm into the hypodermis, the layer where the collagen-producing fibroblasts live. That wavelength is absorbed by both water-rich tissue and fat, which is what lets one session do three things at once. Existing collagen contracts, so the skin tightens on the day, and the fibroblasts begin a rebuild that lays down fresh collagen and elastin for months afterwards. Where a small fat pocket sits under the chin or along the jowls, the same energy breaks those cells down. The body clears them through the lymphatic system. The energy also stimulates the connective tissue itself, a process called photobiomodulation, which lifts the quality and texture of the skin.

A single-use optical fibre, finer than a human hair, is placed under the skin through one tiny entry point. There are no incisions and no stitches. The fibre delivers laser energy into the hypodermis, the layer where collagen is made. The body then clears the treated cells through the lymphatic system over the following weeks. The jawline looks cleaner for it. Endolift is not a weight loss treatment and does not target large volumes of fat. For stubborn fat with no loose skin, injectable fat dissolving may be the better fit.
The area is numbed with local anaesthetic before anything else happens, so most people feel mild pressure and warmth rather than pain. Endolift is not right for everyone. It is not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an active infection or significant skin condition in the treatment area. A history of keloid scarring, certain auto-immune conditions, or blood-thinning medication that cannot safely be paused may also rule it out. They share a family of technology but are not the same treatment. Laser liposuction uses larger cannulas, is designed to remove a greater volume of fat, and comes with real downtime.
